Coriander Seed
- Coriander seeds should be uniform in size and shape, with a slightly wrinkled surface. The seeds should be round to slightly oblong and range in color from pale yellow to light brown.
- The moisture content of coriander seeds should not exceed 12%. High moisture content can lead to spoilage and mold growth.
- Coriander seeds should be free from foreign matter, such as stones, dirt, and other debris. The maximum allowable amount of foreign matter is typically 1.0%.
- Coriander seeds should have a minimum of 95.0% sound kernels. This means that no more than 5.0% of the kernels can be damaged, broken, or diseased.
